The OEM front internal crankshaft oil seal is a critical engine sealing component used in Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and 2, Range Rover Classic and Range Rover P38 models.
Located at the front of the crankshaft on the internal engine side, it prevents oil leakage while maintaining proper lubrication and protecting timing components.
Manufactured to OEM specifications, this seal provides original-equivalent quality, excellent heat resistance and perfect fitment for the specified Land Rover engines.
Its role is essential in keeping engine oil contained within the block and preventing contamination or loss of oil pressure.
Over time, the seal can harden or wear out, leading to visible oil leaks at the front of the engine or abnormal oil consumption.
