Snorkel Equipe 4×4 Rollcage

Protecting the engine from the ingress of dust and water is essential when driving off-road.
A high position of the vent will ensure that clean, dry air is always available, regardless of the conditions.

Anyone who practices off-road has almost certainly traveled dry and dusty roads, water crossings, snow or torrential rain leaving the engine vulnerable to costly damage.

The Snorkel Equipe 4×4 was created to protect the engines from the dangers of dust and water commonly present on off-road tours by repositioning the air intake point from a low and vulnerable position to a higher and safer one, to guarantee a constant source of clean and dry air.

The Snorkel Equipe 4×4 incorporates the intake port with the Ram Air Charge System, a highly effective integrated water separation system that removes rainwater from the incoming air stream, ensuring safe engine operation even during the most torrential storms. The Ram suction mouth can be rotated to face any weather condition.
To ensure further cleaning of the intake air, a sturdy metal grill with the Equipe 4×4 logo is fixed in the intake opening.

Snorkel Equipe 4×4 in the Standard version is suitable for all Defender mod. 90 – 110 – 130 built from 1994 to 2016.

The rigid snorkel tube is fixed to the Rollcage tube by means of a hinged clamp. While the boxed part is fixed with threaded rivets and special stainless steel screws with 6 x 15mm rounded head. To connect the two rigid elements, a spiral rubber hose is supplied, headed with a seat for the hose clamps.

The Equipe 4×4 snorkel for Rollcage is not suitable for vehicles without Rollcage.
