Timing cover breather plate 200/300Tdi

The Kit includes:-
1 x Blue 5mm thick Timing Cover Plate
1 x 90 degree 8mm swivel fitting
3 x Stainless M6x16 Cap Flange Head Screws (For use when fitting to a 200tdi engine)
3 x Stainless M8x16 Cap Head Screws (For use when fitting to a 300tdi engine)

This timing cover breather plate comes with a 90 degree 8mm swivel fitting to fit a breather pipe to and new Stainless Steel bolts to secure it to the timing cover.
One of these plates must be fitted to the timing cover if you have fitted a wading plug, if you go into the water without a breather it will cause a vacuum as water contacting with the timing cover cools it and air inside, as the air inside contracts you can suck water/mud in past the crank pulley seal, this won’t do the cambelt and timing gears much good.

Made from 5mm steel, laser cut and powder coated blue (RAL5002), these are much thicker and stronger than any others available.
